Triplicate
Triplicate is a satirical idle game where you don't play the king — you play the administration that outlives him.
Your goal is not to win. Your goal is to grow, to persist, and to produce ever more paperwork across the great bureaucratic civilizations of History — from Ancient Egypt to the European Union.
The core loop is deliberately backwards. You receive a budget. You must spend it. The more you spend, the more you demonstrate need. The more you demonstrate need, the more you receive. Saving is punished. Waste is rewarded.
What you'll do
- Hire scribes, promote them until they stop being useful (see: Peter Principle)
- Build temples, archives, banquet halls, and obelisks — all essential
- Pass regulations that increase both output and overhead simultaneously
- Choose a patron deity and commit to the consequences
- Construct a Pyramid, one bureaucratic tick at a time
Each achievement unlocks a real historical fact, because the absurdity is all documented.
Coming in future eras
- Rome — Senate politics, bread and circuses, aqueducts that take three centuries to finish
- Versailles — court protocol, royal expenditure, the Sun King's administrative apparatus
- Soviet Union — five-year plans, production quotas, committees to plan the planning
- Contemporary France — six layers of territorial government, infinite reform cycles, the occasional crisis
- European Union — 600 pages of green taxonomy, agricultural subsidies, and regulations on the curvature of cucumbers
Each era brings new buildings, new regulations, new spending paths, and new historical absurdities to unlock.

Nice concept that innovate the idler genre, took me a bit of time to understand that i had to spend money, and not being able to stockpile it to buy the next upgrade.
I also would like to be able to check the achievements i've earned and that i've yet to earn with a clue on how to get them, and maybe tie a small bonus to each.
Overall, a great demo !
